this was the first concert i ever went to. i always tell the story about it and as time erodes the memory of the moment it’s a bit hazy but i do remember it being my first concert experience, getting someone to buy my ticket, telling my mother i was going somewhere completely different, getting there dressed in black and white with a raiders cap (or kings), seeing nwa (with cube) and PE murder a stage show and being entirely too young and nervous to enjoy it (i went alone for some reason. i think its because i was the only person who could successfully pull off the ticket buying, parent drop off thing without getting caught)
man this flyer brought back memories. if you have seen my eazy e costume just imagine me sincerely dressed like that at the height of his fame attending a stadium seating show alone.
